We’re leaping into a new week with another Christmas theme as we countdown our 12 Days of Christmas Tabletops.
10 Lords of Leaping was definitely one of the hardest for us to conceptualize as we were creating the designs for each of the 12 days. How do we convey the idea of a dancing man into an elegant tablescape? Instead of getting too literal (which really, when have we?) we decided to take inspiration from the attire of the leaping Lords, and do menswear inspired look with elegant regal details in our settings.
The linen from Nuage Designs, Inc. was our major inspiration when styling this tabletop. The Midnight-Parker linen is a deep navy blue with black embroidery in a modern pattern. Paired with our White Ella Dinnerware and Chargers, White and Gold Goa Flatware, and Clear Pressed Glassware provided an elegant and regal feel when paired with navy.
We love love the fun wintery centerscape that Ashton Events created with small ivory bottlebrush Christmas trees and pinecones tucked in glass cloches with a few extras dancing their way down the table. This created a subtle woodland touch, keeping the table a little more masculine while not compromising the elegance of the look.
